Subnet

A logical subdivision of an IP network, defined by a mask that separates the network and host portions of an address.

Home networks typically use a /24 subnet like 192.168.1.0/24, giving 254 usable addresses. Our subnet calculator works out the network, broadcast and host range for any prefix.
